My name is Thurston Tynkkynen, and I'm a 19 year old singer/songwriter from Stratford Ontario. As the summer ends, it seems like everyone in my circle is heading off in new directions. Because of this, the frequency in which we see each other and play music together will be much less than now.

So before everyone heads off, I decided to throw a little music festival celebrating everyone's accomplishments together, and giving us one last opportunity to all play together. As well, giving people in the community the chance to hear all these talented young artists starting up in all different styles of music. It's called the No Aloha Festival, and it's set for August 17th from 5:30-10:30 at the Stratford Perth Museum.

I'm organizing and funding this entire festival myself. Because of this and because I'm heading off to school in September, I've had to cut some corners here and there so far. I'm setting this gofundme up so if you feel inclined to donate, your money would go towards entirely to the costs of venue rental, equipment and setup, and especially towards the artists themselves.

I do feel somewhat awkward asking for money, so I had certain perks for donors, but that unfortunately goes against gofundme's terms. Despite that minor setback, all donations we make from this will go towards making this an extremely enjoyable event for the public as well as to support a bunch of up and coming artists, who are starting their respective carreers.
