Rent Support for Capital Region Organizers

2021 was quite a year for local political organizing in the Capital Region. The groundwork put in place for decades is yielding BIG RESULTS for historically marginalized communities.

 

But we're not free yet, and Capitalism is working hard to contain these gains!! Local political organizers sacrifice many opportunities each day to continue to agitate for Justice For All. While they are out there working hard for all of us, their bills and obligations keep coming.

 

This fundraiser will support Rent & Car Payments for two Black political organizers in the Capital Region. Their voices are critical to making sure the legislation that passes does right by the people it directly impacts. Their work is evident across the region and the state, most notably:
