RENT PARTY for Erica Woods Tucker and her family.

I'm Luanne Smith and I'm throwing a virtual RENT PARTY for my friend and fellow writer, Erica Woods Tucker. Erica had to fund raise for her husband's medical bills last winter. He's home, but unable to work. The rent, food, needs of her husband and two children are piling up, though Erica is fighting as hard as she can to hold it all together. She's a tough one from The Bronx, through and through.

But that isn't enough for her property manager who is threatening eviction, in spite of Erica's hard efforts to scrape together rent every month and open communication about her family's situation with the management company.

So corporate doesn't care, but let's show WE do. Help me help Erica and her family. The amount requested will keep eviction at bay and get some groceries on the table. She's a hard worker, a big-hearted woman, a wonderful writer with her back all the way up against the wall.
