If you’ve spent time in Chicago’s DIY music scene, you probably know Max — a warm, welcoming and fundamental member of the Chicago arts community. She has played with Noiseland and Impulsive Hearts, along with other music and theater projects throughout the city.

Max has spent years helping keep local music alive, whether by playing shows, supporting other artists, or showing up with genuine kindness and energy that makes everyone feel at home.

Right now, Max, like many of us, is facing a tough spot financially and needs help from the community she’s done so much for. This GoFundMe is to help cover one month of rent, giving her some breathing room and time to make plans to move out of the city. As you can imagine, the process has been very difficult - we want to raise support and help our girl make this very stressful transition safer and a little easier.
