Rent After Rehab ❤️‍

I decided to fly to Arizona for a 45 day stay at 7 Arrows Recovery to work on my substance use disorder, heal my heart, and get to the root of my drinking- my untreated trauma. I had all of my ducks in a row with my paperwork for the State’s paid sick leave program, which I thought would cover my expenses while I was gone from work. I only had 15 hours of sick leave through work so this program was a necessity. It took them 3.5 weeks to process my application, which they denied due to a paperwork issue on my rehab’s end. I corrected the paperwork but now it’s taking another 2 weeks for the denial review to happen, and if that’s approved it will be another week before I get paid. I am completely out of funds after paying my previous months rent, utilities, phone bill, and the large bill from my rehab. I’m starting this gofundme to help me pay July’s rent ($1,000) and cover some expenses like gas and groceries when I get home. This healing journey was necessary for me but I didn’t expect it to take a turn like this. If you can help out I would super appreciate it forever.
