Pay medical expenses, bills, and other needs

Hello, I’m making a fundraiser for my friend Josefina Valencia who is needing money to rent a place to live with her 7 year old child and also to pay bills. She already applied for emergency housing and regular housing but there is a long wait list and she is literally homeless. She has not been able to work for over a year due to her health since she has been diagnosed with morbid obesity, lymphedema, hypertension, anxiety, and sleep apnea. She also had an emergency surgery to remove a gastric band that was infected and it was a miracle that she even survived as per the surgeon. Now she has been hospitalized at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville for about 1 week after getting a gastric bypass for which she has not recovered as expected. She had to get a second surgery to repair a staple that had come out from the inside and she has been in excruciating pain, she describes it as worse than delivering a baby. Now the plan is for her to go to Edinburg’s Regional Rehab next week if the insurance approves to get physical therapy since she is very weak. She really misses her son Tadeo and wishes to be soon with him to take him to school. I would greatly appreciate any money that you can contribute. Thank you in advance.

Hola, estoy haciendo una recaudación de fondos para mi amiga Josefina Valencia que necesita dinero para alquilar un lugar para vivir con su hijo de 7 años y también para pagar las cuentas. Ella ya solicitó vivienda de emergencia y vivienda regular, pero hay una larga lista de espera y literalmente no tiene hogar. Lleva más de un año sin poder trabajar debido a su estado de salud ya que le han diagnosticado obesidad mórbida, linfedema, hipertensión, ansiedad y apnea del sueño. También tuvo una cirugía de emergencia para quitarle una banda gástrica que estaba infectada y fue un milagro que incluso sobrevivió según el cirujano. Ahora ha estado hospitalizada en Valley Baptist Medical Center en Brownsville durante aproximadamente 1 semana después de someterse a un bypass gástrico del que no se ha recuperado como se esperaba. Tuvo que someterse a una segunda cirugía para reparar una grapa que se había salido del interior y ha tenido un dolor insoportable, lo describe como peor que dar a luz a un bebé. Ahora el plan es que ella vaya a la rehabilitación regional de Edinburg la próxima semana si el seguro aprueba recibir fisioterapia ya que está muy débil. Extraña mucho a su hijo Tadeo y desea estar pronto con él para llevarlo a la escuela. Te agradecería mucho cualquier dinero que puedas aportar. Gracias de antemano.
