Hey my name is Sarajane and I am fundraising to help me with renovations on my home. I currently work 3rd shift at Waffle House as a server in Lafayette, which is hour away from my home. I don’t have a vehicle currently but when I took the job I was trying to get a fresh start so my mom let me stay with her in a hotel. So I’d Uber to work and I really didn’t need a car at the moment.

I worked up to save $500 and it was either a house or a car. The car didn’t work out and in the same day the previous owner of the property dropped the price from 12k to 6k $500 down. So I took the risk despite my circumstances, I took homeownership over renting in Lafayette.

This all sounds so crazy as I’m typing it out . I knew it needed a lot of work. I have been looking at this property for the whole summer. I wish on a star and I actually got it!

I’d like to be able to possible stop working for a little bit to finally get this done. I know if I buckle down and do it can be done. The only thing I worry about is how I’m gonna finance this project. The money was good for a moment when I started at this job but since holidays are over business is dropping and so are tips. Also my daughter Aurora has been staying with her grandparents on her father’s side while I get myself together. I’m ready for her come home to a livable space we can call ours finally So I’m coming here to ask you guys to please help me fund my home. So I can go back to school and focus on being a mother again.
