Help to fix 10 Schools in Tanzania

Did your classroom look like that, when you were a kid?
Would you want your kids to study in these conditions?
We want to change this situation. We are raising funds to renovate schools in Zanzibar, Tanzania.
Our big mission is to change all Educational system in Zanzibar and fight poverty through education. How we can do it? By changing and improving all schools in Zanzibar. One school at a time, actually 10 schools at a time. Zanzibar has 230 schools. So we are starting with 10 schools, each school required 10,000 euro.
Most schools that we have visited don't have basic furniture, so children are forced to sit on the floor. Imagine how bad is this for your overall health as your spine is just forming, as you have to strain your neck to see the board, trying to write on your lap. Very few classrooms do have tables and chairs, but even those don't have enough for everyone, so children have to sit five on a bench meant for two students.
This situation is really bad and disturbing. When first time I wanted to help and was arranging things to bring to Zanzibar I asked the principal what do they require, and he told me: "Well, first, we need pencils and pens". I was deeply disturbed by these words, as I felt that such basic things cannot be asked for. We are not talking about any luxury items here. So basic, pencils and pens, of course, they are lacking other stationary resources as well as textbooks and books. Being a student in such an environment is already a big challenge. And try to stay focus on the lesson and what exactly the teacher is teaching you already is very difficult in these conditions, without the proper tools many kids are not able to follow the teacher and cannot show any sort of good results.
Why we choose Zanzibar? We do wanna help all kids in Africa, but this is a very broad and huge idea. That's why we've decided to focus on Zanzibar as this island is not as big, with a population of approx 1,6 million people. So we do feel that we have the potential to have a great impact on this community.
How will we use the money:
1. Provide all classrooms with the right amount of tables and chairs.
2. Renovating the walls and rooftops where required.
3. Repainting from inside/out.
4. Purchasing all the stationery materials.
5. Buying textbooks and books, organizing a proper library in each school.
6. Arranging the Teacher's Room with things they needed as well as a minimum of 1 computer and 1 printer.
7. Arranging the outside area.
Maybe to change the whole of Africa, we can’t do it yet, but to change Zanzibar with your help we definitely can! Give these children an opportunity for higher education and a better future.
