Ken”Troutman” Pierson is a veteran and has been a barber in Reno for nearly 40 years who has served this community well. Ken was unfortunately diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in October 2020. He underwent a successful surgery, however had setbacks after surgery that will prolong his recovery. With the unexpected longer recovery and the uncertainty of the potential restrictions he might be encountering from the mandates of Covid-19, they are having challenges of meeting costs the daily living and keeping his business. Like many families in 2020, the challenges of the pandemic forced him to temporarily close his barber shop. He and his wife, Jean, of 54 years have endured many hospital bill along with the normal day to day bills and they are struggling because of Ken’s inability to resume work. Ken, even in the hard times, will never tell you no when you need help or never tell you he doesn't have the time. He is always there for anyone who needs help, and he has the biggest heart. So, we would greatly appreciate any help you could provide him and Jean in these trying times as we help him fight this battle on cancer as "No One Fights Alone!”
