Renjith Sabu heart surgery

Hello! Our names are Benjith and Keegan Sabu. We are fundraising money for our brother Renjith Sabu. Renjith is preparing for heart surgery. He is located in India so health insurance isn’t really an option. The surgery is to be paid in full prior to the surgery taking place. This would be a half million dollar surgery here in the states, so we are thankful that the goal is within reach due to it taking place in India.

Renjith was born with only 2 valves in his heart and now one of the valves has an approximate 2.5cm hole causing leakage. His heart is having to work extra hard due to not only having two valves, but also the leakage. Due to all of this the aorta is dilating causing it be a moderate to severe condition if it should go untreated any longer. Renjith will undergo Bentall Surgery to fix these issues.

Renjith needs to fund not only the surgery out of pocket, but he will also not be working, he will need to pay for medications in and out of the hospital, and will have to fund a short hospital stay. There is an option for them to get some of it funded by the government in India but it is not guaranteed by any means, and it would be a very small amount. Renjith is doing what he can to save money, but that is very difficult in India due to the wages being MUCH less than we are used to here.

Renjith is the youth leader in their church congregation and he and his wife, Kesin, are faithful servants of God! Absolutely anything will help! Benjith and I will be his forwarding agents, and in the case that we were to go over the requested funding amount, the remainder will go towards rent, groceries, and any other needs they may have during the recovery period.
