For nearly three decades, the Northside Community Garden has been a green sanctuary for neighbors, families, and friends in Berkeley. Over the years, countless hands have tended the soil, planted seeds, and built a space where everyone feels welcome. Now, after almost 30 years, the garden’s gate and fence have fallen into disrepair, and it’s time for a renewal that honors the spirit of our community.
We hope to replace the old gate with a beautiful, handcrafted metalwork gate created by a talented local artist. This new gate will not only secure the garden but also serve as a lasting symbol of creativity and togetherness. By supporting this project, you’ll help us commission a unique piece of art that will inspire and welcome neighbors and gardeners for decades to come.
Community gardens have always held a special place in the hearts of Berkeley residents. This is your chance to be part of that legacy—your support will help us continue to grow, connect, and beautify our neighborhood for generations.
