Renée's Health Crisis: Breast Cancer and Other Complications
Most of you probably know Renée for her joyful service and dedication to her ministry. A life dedicated to prayer for the nations and care of overseas workers while in Wales is still the aim! In the past year, however, she has been experiencing concerning health issues. These intensified and after months of extensive testing. she was finally ablevto get some solutions!
Renée underwent a mastectomy on April 10th to remove 2 sizable tumors. She recovered well. Pathology revealed the cancer to be non-invasive Stage 0, so no further treatment was needed to address the cancer!
She continued to seek answers for liver pain and debilitating migraines that had become a worsening issue. After consulting with specialists (including a trip to Mayo Clinic in MN) she was diagnosed with Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC), a serious autoimmune disease. Fortunately, Renee has experienced great improvement after starting medication for her condition.
These medical expenses have been above and beyond the level the limited support she receives for her ministry work. Please consider financially supporting or sharing this page. All funds will go directly to Renée's medical expenses. If you are on Facebook, you can follow her update page at:
