Hi everyone, Renée's sister Joelle here!

After 8 years on dialysis and a long journey of perseverance, Renée has received the miracle of a second kidney transplant — a life-changing gift that we are endlessly grateful for.

This next chapter of recovery is both a blessing and a challenge as she takes time to heal and adjust. As many of you know, Renée is someone who lights up every room she walks into. She is joyful, incredibly resilient and proudly independent. Reaching out for help is not something that comes naturally for her — but right now, support from her community would make a world of a difference.

Renée will be away for at least a month during this critical recovery period and while she focuses on healing she’ll be unable to work — making it difficult to manage living expenses and ongoing financial responsibilities.
