Renee Thompson (some may know her as Renee Wilson ) is one of my best friends and one of the only people I know who would literally give you the shirt off her back if you needed it.  Now she needs help from all of us due to an unexpected health emergency.  Renee lost her husband Charlie,  to cancer , seven years ago.    In the past two years she returned home to Summerville from Myrtle Beach to make a fresh start and place for herself.   She has recently been diagnosed with a heart issue that is going to require open heart surgery.  She will likely be out of work for two months, at a minimum.  Renee does not have any paid medical leave , so will be missing out on her only source of income during her surgery and recovery.  She will need help to pay her rent , utilities etc, as well as her health insurance premiums during her leave.  If you feel compelled to donate , it would be so appreciated, and if you are unable to donate , please share her story and send prayers for her successful surgery and recovery.
