Remembering Renee Holtz Clarke
Donation protected
On Sunday, August 19, Renee Holtz Clarke (39) was called home to Heaven and into the arms of our Heavenly Father. She leaves behind her husband of five years, Jamie Clarke, and her three year old daughter, Georgia. Renee was born and raised in Lyons, Illinois to Randall and Carole Holtz. Renee was an incredible, loving & honest wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.
Renee had a gift for healing though her hands, her words, and her hugs. After high school, she became a certified massage therapist and worked with a variety of clients, but she especially loved working with those suffering from sports related injuries. She knew she wanted to heal others even more; in 2013, she fulfilled her lifelong dream as she graduated from Chamberlain University and became a registered nurse. At the time of her passing, she worked at Saint Francis Hospital, Evanston, helping and healing others. Renee’s outgoing personality and heartfelt hugs, along with her infectious laugh, made her a friend to many. She was always there if you needed a good laugh, a shoulder to cry on or meaningful prayer.
She was independent. She spoke her mind. She was passionate whatever she put her mind to. She loved the color purple and adored her daughter Georgia.
Her family is absolutely devastated by her loss and need all the support they can get. This page was created to help with expenses due to her unexpected death.
In lieu of flowers, we respectfully ask for a donation to help with loss of income, childcare & healthcare expenses. Plus Renee worked at a florist and hates carnations and gladiolas. They reminded her of funerals :).
We will miss her spunk and sass.
On behalf of the Holtz and Clarke family,
Thank you for your support.
