I am reaching out to ask for your support during one of the most challenging times in our lives. My husband, Rene Quintana, was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome on February 12, 2025. This rare neurological disorder has turned our world upside down, leaving Rene facing significant physical challenges that require extensive rehabilitation and medical care.

To make matters more difficult, he has been laid off from work since July 2024, which has made it nearly impossible to manage the mounting medical expenses, especially without insurance. Guillain-Barré syndrome is a condition that attacks the nervous system, leading to muscle weakness and, in severe cases, paralysis. Rene is fighting courageously every day to regain his strength and mobility, but the road to recovery will be long and demanding. He will need specialized therapies, medical equipment, and continuous care to regain his independence.
