Hi everyone, this is Adrianna, one of Rene's big sisters. On 12/22/24, at approximately 3 a.m., our dear brother Rene, aka “Nomo” Garcia, and his beautiful girlfriend Yesenia Rodriquez were T-boned going home after spending some time with good friends making Christmas ornaments. Our family and hers did not find out about the crash for hours, as both of them were in critical condition. Rene was in the ICU under sedation and on a ventilator for 3 days. On the 5th day, he was able to leave the ICU and move into his own hospital room. The crash caused a brain bleed, concussion, a tear in his diaphragm, cracked ribs, kidney laceration with hematoma, and a dislocated elbow. Although his recovery has seen a lot of progress, there are still many complications, and right now he is being monitored and with loved ones.

Yesenia did suffer a serious concussion and major bruising, and injuries to her legs. The crash caused a liver laceration, fracture to her metacarpal, contusion of her right hip and a contusion to her right knee. As of January 2, 2025 she has been able to return home to the care of her family and has visited Rene a couple times.

We’re asking please for help, since both of these beautiful young people have been in the hospital since before Christmas and will be here for quite some time after. We’re raising funds for upcoming bills for the home they shared, expenses, and any possible lawyer fees as they still remain in the hospital.
