Rendon Family Fire
Donation protected
On December 2nd, 2019, the upstairs apartment of the Rendon family flat caught fire. The 4-family flat was completely occupied, with 2 of the Rendon family children in 2 units, a relative in the other and a family in the other place. At this time, no one is able to stay in their homes.
The Rendon family has seen their fair share of struggle and always persevered. In 2015, the City of St. Louis acquired their family home of decades through eminent domain for the new NGA. The family did there best to stay in the neighborhood that they had called home to for many years. They were able to find this 4 family flat and soon made it home.
The family will have to rebuild this space and make it livable to make sure everyone else can get back into their homes. While this is all happening during the holiday time, which as we know, can be a tight time for any family. To help the family get clean up started and make some headway before the cold winter, we have a goal of $5000. Any amount you donate will be truly appreciated.
