Rena's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Rena is 39 years young, based out of OC MD! She started experiencing pain in in her chest/breasts within the year 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been more difficult to seek medical attention for symptoms that do not include the current world circumstances. Within these past two weeks, Rena has finally been able to seek the medical help she needs in order to diagnose her current illness: Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer.
For those of you that do not know Rena, she works in service industry. She has been with the same company for over 10 years, and sets the bar high when it comes to having achieved excellence throughout her journey. Because she is a server, she does not have adequate health insurance or income to cover the anticipated expenses. Along with the previously noted, with COVID-19 very prevalent, we are preparing her to likely be pulled from work following her beginning steps of chemo -one week from her diagnosis date, July 27, 2020. No work simply means no income, with much larger expenses than normal.
Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer is considered an aggressive cancer because it grows quickly, is more likely to have spread at the time it’s found and is more likely to come back after treatment than other types of breast cancer. The outlook is generally not as good as it is for other types of breast cancer. With the high hopes of recovery, we are asking for any donations and/or prayers toward her diagnosis, treatment, and recovery funds needed. When this goal is reached, all funds will go directly to Rena and spent through the duration of this treatment. Rena thanks you in advance from the bottom of her heart and will keep this page updated through the weeks to come. She could not do this journey without your love and support.
Love Always,
