Remy's Life-Changing Surgery: We Need You
Donation protected
This is Remy. She is my ESA dog that I got for depression on June 23rd, 2022, almost a year after my husband committed suicide. I just recently found out she needs a surgery that can cost up to $13,000 for a spine issue known as IVDD. Remy is such a sweet dog. She’s a boxer, German shorthaired pointer, Rottweiler mix. She loves to ride in the car, lick people, and wag her booty as fast as she wags her tail. Even when I took her to the emergency veterinarian on July 5th, 2025, because she wouldn’t eat and she was walking as if she was in severe pain with a humped-over gait, she was still in the waiting room trying to greet everyone and get them to rub her booty. I don’t want to lose my baby and it’s getting increasingly difficult to watch her day in and day out in pain and unable to even walk outside to use the bathroom. I am unable to stay at work for my assigned shift because the medication she is on, prednisone, makes her urinate more often and I work 10 hours. She recently had an accident and was so sad when I got home. She used to be so energetic and now she is not the happy dog I once knew. I have videos of her but couldn’t figure out how to add them here.
I can’t afford to pay for the surgery and need help!
