Remy's Half Marathon for Brain Tumour Research

I will be running the Palma Half Marathon on 15th October 2023 to raise funds for Brain Tumour Research UK.

Sadly, a close family friend was recently diagnosed with a severe brain tumour, he is 44 years old and has always been fit and healthy. He had no idea he had been living with this condition for some time, until he collapsed playing football. The tumour is too advanced to operate, so he is fighting it in every way he can and is doing remarkably well, supported by his wife, two young children and close family.

16,000 people are diagnosed with a brain tumour every year. They are indiscriminate and can affect anyone at any age, yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.

I have decided to dedicate this run to our friend and his family, so please help me to raise more awareness and to support more research. Any donations will be gratefully received.
