Remya is a Healthcare Assistant working in a nursing home in West Cork. She has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and is now facing an intensive course of treatment involving months of chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation therapy. Some of the medications she requires are not covered by the medical card, adding to the financial strain.

Remya’s family is in India and has not yet joined her in Ireland, making this journey even more emotionally and practically challenging. As she prepares to take time off work for treatment and recovery, the costs of travel, medication, and daily living are becoming increasingly difficult to manage.

Remya has always been a kind, compassionate person — someone who gives so much to others through her work and friendships. Now she needs our support. This fundraiser has been created to help with:
