I set up the GoFundMe to raise money to help with the medical expenses of my best friend. This is my six-year-old Great Dane, Remy. One night, Remy woke up, throwing up and going to the bathroom a lot. Being very scared of the way he was acting, I rushed him to the emergency vet. After days of testing and x-rays, it was decided to do an exploratory surgery inside his stomach. They found that his colon had flipped over, and when they flipped it back around, they found that he had colon cancer. Remy is my whole world. I can’t imagine living a single day without him. He’s gotten me through so many rough times in my life. He’s literally my little shining star. I would do anything possible to keep him here with me for as long as he safely could be. He’s had surgery to help and now is on a treatment plan to try and help him beat the cancer. Unfortunately, as much as I love him, love doesn’t make money. So I’m here to ask anyone and everyone who might have it in their heart to even just give him a dollar to help him try and beat his cancer and stay with his family as long as he can. The dog has never failed to put a smile on my face every day. I would give the whole entire world if I could, but I just need to give him the medication that will keep him alive. It’s the best that I can do for him now. I just hope, I hope that someone out there will feel a little sympathy for him and help us get him the care he needs.
