Remy Alicin

We are the HLPOA. On Friday February 10 (2023) Waste Management employee Remy Alicin, a long time sanitation professional devoted to helping maintain our community, suffered a tragic accident while on duty. Remy accidentally fell and severely injured himself. EMS transported Remy to the Broward General trauma center. Either on the way or shortly after arrival, Remy passed away from his injuries. Remy was 67 years old. He leaves a bereaved family who require assistance in raising funding for funeral expenses. This is the purpose of this fundraiser. Remy was married for 35 years. He had three children (two daughters and a son -- adults now). He was associated with Waste Management for over 10 years. According to his immediate supervisor, Remy was always effervescent and well-liked; upbeat and supportive of his team members at all time. He was a valued asset of the company and, in turn, of each and every community he serviced. He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.
