Remove Chuck’s Tumor

Chuck was diagnosed with a renal tumor back in April. He was put on multiple meds to try and control all the effects. This week his condition worsened and the vet is recommending surgery. His tumor has grown from 6cm to 8cm in 4 months and is pushing on his stomach, kidney, and limiting oxygen to his brain. This is greatly affecting his appetite which has led to weight loss, lethargy, and general discomfort. The vet feels confident that with the surgery he will be back to his normal adorable, mamas boy, attention seeking self. There’s a slight chance he will not survive the surgery but the vet feels that chance is low. Chuck has been my baby since he was an itty bitty thing. I adopted him from the Humane Society in 2008. He survived an illness that killed all his siblings back then and I know he can survive this if he gets the chance.
