CURRENT STATUS: Remi's life was saved due to the amazing people who donated to his cause! However, the fight isn't quite over. We thought there would be enough funds to cover his Heartworm treatment, but as of 4/20/17 his bills are at just over $1700 and he has not begun his treatment for heartworm yet, which is anticipated to be around $1000. I have started accepting donations again, hoping to cover these costs so that Remi can live a long and healthy life! Any additional funds raised will go towards his neuter, microchipping, or any future animals that need medical care.

PREVIOUS STATUS:

I am trying to raise money for a 1yr, male, Border Collie mix named Remi. Remi was shot in the leg, and he was taken to a local veterinary clinic on emergency. After coming to the clinic, his owner has become completely unreachable, and he is now considered abandoned. His leg is badly wounded and needs to be either surgically corrected or amputated in order for him to recover and be able to live a comfortable life. Once at the clinic, it was discovered that he is also Heartworm positive. This, too, is something that needs to be treated as soon as possible. The current estimate for his surgery and heartworm treatment is over $2000.

Without the money to treat his ailments THIS WEEK, he will be euthanized.

He is extremely gentle and kind. He is a little shaken up from the whole ordeal, but has been an exceptional patient regardless. Once he has recovered from this traumatic experience, he will go up for adoption and be placed in the most fitting home possible. He deserves this chance and would make an excellent companion to someone in the future.
