Remi is a bright and talented 14-year-old freshman in high school who has been bravely battling Ewing Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer. Despite undergoing rounds of chemotherapy and facing the challenges of being immunocompromised, Remi continues to shine with her radiant smile, love for life, and passion for helping others. She is a true performer at heart. Remi LOVES musical theatre and recently played the donkey in her school’s production of Shrek just before her diagnosis. She also has a huge heart for animals and dreams of one day giving back to kids who, like her, have faced tough medical journeys.
Now, with the support of Make-A-Wish and in collaboration with the UNC 1789 Student Venture Capital Fund, students Drew Bartlett, Kate McArdle, Will Hauser, and Coco Boyden are working together to help grant Remi a life-changing gift: her biggest wish—to go to Disney World!
Every donation, big or small, will bring Remi one step closer to meeting Mickey, experiencing the magic of Disney, and most importantly, celebrating the resilience and joy that she embodies every single day.
Please join us in making Remi’s wish come true. Together, we can give her the chance to experience the magic she so deeply deserves.
