Remi’s brain surgery recovery

Donation protected
My name is Amber Swanson. I’m hoping to raise money for my brother Clayton, his partner Ashley in support of their son Remington and his recent brain surgery.
Remi suffered a seizure at birth. He was later diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Next to add epilepsy to the battle. 70% of people with cerebral palsy end up with a seizure disorder on some level and unfortunately Remi got it pretty bad.

Remi underwent brain surgery on January 17, 2024 to hopefully stop or even minimize the daily seizures and the effects on his brain and body.
Things are up in the air as to how long they will have to be in Vancouver for his physio recovery and what the outcome will actually be. He has brain swelling the last few days , so the thoughts are they may be staying longer.

My hope is to take some stress off the other side of life and allow them the freedom to be together and focus on Remi.
If you are a parent you know, the worst pain you’ve ever experienced is not being able to help your child and take their pain away , make them healthy. Happy.
