Richard McLaughlin's Burial Fund
Donation protected
Hello, and thank you for reading. We are a loving family of five from Brooklyn, New York. With three children, one in college, one working parent, and one disabled parent we've faced many hardships in the past few years but we always manage to get by somehow. We aren't the type of people to ask for a handout, but rather we like to say we would give someone our last dollar if they needed it more than us; but now we need you.
Richard, or as we know him Ricky, was a cheerful and loving brother, son, cousin and uncle to all of us. Ricky had a number of conditions, including blood clots, pancreatitis, and a heart murmur. Ricky was also disabled and had lost his fingers due to frostbite last year. All of this at the young age of 41. Ricky died this morning, leaving us devastated. Unfortunately at this time we are not able to give you the exact cause of death as we are waiting for the coroner's report, but have no doubt it was related to his many health struggles. Unfortunately we do not have many recent photos of Ricky, as he wasn't one for pictures, but are reaching out to the family for any pictures we might have.
We are still heartbroken as we write this, but alas reality sets in and we realize we have to bury our loved one. We need donations as soon as possible, for obvious reasons. We do not expect to reach our goal but hope to, and ANY AND EVERY DOLLAR HELPS, more than you know. I don't know have to explain what it means to lose someone you love. Every dollar donated will go towards Ricky's funeral services, burial plot and tombstone. Words can't describe how thankful we are, reader, that you are even listening to our story. Ricky has found peace in death and is free from the struggles of this world but he is in our memory and our hearts always. Please consider helping us bury our loved one with the dignity and respect he deserves.
Gratefully, Sincerely, Hopefully,
The Mclaughlin Family
