Remembering Priscilla Liang

Donation protected
On Friday July 15th, 2016 I lost one of my dearest friends, Priscilla Liang - only 35 years young.
Before I share her story, I want you to know she passed away pain free and comfortably in the arms of her loving husband, Charles. In life we rarely get to choose how we leave this world, but knowing that she had her true love by her side leaves me with some comfort.

For those of you who don't know, Priscilla was diagnosed with a rare disease called Scleroderma and had been fighting it for the past 4 years. I know most of you would have never heard of this disease, so I encourage you to learn more about it. Even though every day became a struggle for her, she never lost hope and had the mental and physical strength that the rest of us can hope to only have a fraction of. She remained the most positive woman I knew right to the end, rarely complaining and still deeply caring for people that surround her. To have to sit on the sidelines and not be able to do enough has been gut wrenching for me and my husband.

My heart goes out to her loving parents, brother, Charles and her little 4 year old Geneve.  Charles lost his soul mate.  He is an inspiration to all of us on what inner strength, true love and ultimate positivity looks like. Taking care of Priss through all of the hard times ,  working full time, all while raising Geneve.  Priss has said to me many times how lucky she feels to have Charles to love, laugh and cry with.

She was a loving mother, wife, avid foodie, enjoyed flamenco dancing and a dear friend to many.  We will miss her all.  They say we die twice, once when the last breath leaves us and once when the last person that knows us says our name.  Your flame, my beautiful Priss will always be lit, as you will always be in our hearts and cross our lips. If you ever had the pleasure of meeting her you would know that she could light up a room with her smile and positive attitude on life.

Little Geneve has lost her mommy way too early, but she carries her within her heart, behind her smile and definitely in her appetite and love of great food. You will grow up without your mommy but not without knowing her. We will each share a little of the Priss we so loved with you through stories, photos and memories.

I am setting up this gofundme campaign so that all those who wish to contribute to the family she leaves behind can do so during this difficult time.

To everyone that donates we cannot thank you enough for helping support her family.

Thank You
