Memorial for Mark Immekus at TCC

For those that were able to know Mark, you knew Mark had his priorities in order:  Faith, Family..... and golf!

Mark was a long time member of Tuckaway Country Club (TCC) and more than not you could find him on the course with his entire family playing some kind of event in the evenings, especially on the weekends.  Mark really enjoyed playing in couples events with his wife Sonja and was regularly seen "cheering" his son Michael on.   Michael recently won the TCC Club Championship in 2016 and Mark was right there with him the whole way through.  

Tragically, Mark passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 26th at home.  Mark's passing has brought together a lot of people asking "What can we do to honor him?"  

With that, we are launching a campaign to raise funds to build a memorial on the 18th tee (the new back championship tee) at Tuckaway Country Club in his honor.  This would include a comprehensive plan similar to what you see on the teebox on #9 (if you have been to TCC recently).  This would include some kind of memorial along with a comprehensive landscaping plan that the family will help design!

More details of the final plans will be based on the amount of funds raised. 

Mark was  “one of the good ones”.   It's hard to sum up what he meant to people in words...  We will all miss him.   Let's honor him the only way we know how - with a memorial on his favorite golf course!
