Remembering Zach: A Son's Tribute

Donation protected
Zachary “Zach” Ward Martin, a music education student and beloved son, entered eternal rest and peace on January 30, 2025. Zachary was 26 years old.
Zachary was born on April 27, 1998, in Arlington, Texas, to Christopher Bryon Martin and Jennifer Renee’ Foster. He would later gain two wonderful stepparents in Amanda Heard Martin and Omar Saldaña. Zachary would share close bonds with his stepsister Ashlyn Kaplan and a shared love of music, kitties and joking around with his half-sister Sarah Ann Saldaña.
Video and board games, outdoor adventures, music and traveling were some of Zach’s hobbies. He enjoyed fishing and golf with his dad and granddad and loved coming home to Toby “the cat” who would greet him at the door and talk to him all the way to his room.
After high school at Euless Trinity, Zachary attended Paris Junior College and the University of Texas in Arlington. Zachary earned his Associate in Music Science at Paris Junior College, and he was pursuing his Bachelors in Business at the University of Texas in Arlington at the time of his passing. He developed special musical talents in school choirs and when he sang, he could mesmerize a room. The friendships Zachary made throughout his years of schooling were ones that gave him the greatest joy.
Zachary’s understanding of scripture was taught at an early age and he respected the value of knowing YHWH (Yahweh) and Yahshua in his life. It gives us peace to know, he sleeps until he is awakened. “For this reason, it says, "Awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, And Messiah will shine on you Eph. 5:14”
Survivors include his parents, sisters, his aunt Cheryl Foster, uncles Charles Martin and Jeremy Martin, his great -grandmother Miriam Martin and her son Dennis Martin, and step-grandparents Jim and Sue Heard.
A celebration of life will be held on February 16, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Texas Star Conference Center at 1400 Texas Star Parkway, Euless, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, we ask for those wishing to donate to do so through this GoFundMe. The funds will be used to cover any outstanding expenses with school and medical. If there are any funds left over they will be donated to various causes near and dear to him.
