Willow Harper Rose Marinovich joined big sister Autumn and parents John and Melissa on March 22, 2019. Her time on earth was not always easy, but Willow tackled every challenge life threw at her with a smile on her face and eyes that shone brighter than the stars. While not completely gone yet, Willow is quietly and peacefully preparing for a new adventure.
After being rushed to Children’s Hospital in Omaha on Saturday, Feb 20, the doctors have acknowledged that Willow will not recover. John and Melissa have begun the beautiful process of organ and tissue donation in hopes that Willow may continue to bring joy and light to the world, saving others from the difficult times her family is now facing.
Willow has touched so many hearts in her short life, and we are devastated to have to say good-bye so soon. Her smile, laughter, strength, and love will continue to be shared with the world through her sister Autumn, as well as Willow’s Warriors, who will continue to tell Willow’s story for generations to come.
Funds raised will help John and Melissa cover medical and end-of-life expenses. Any additional remaining funds will be donated to Lincoln Littles, the non-profit that helped with Willow’s education and daycare costs.
