Remembering Willow Mae Bone, who tragically and unexpectedly lost her courageous fight and grew her wings the day before her 1st Birthday. The world has lost a shining light, but her brightness will forever be in our hearts.
Willow is the daughter of Emma & Dylan, and forever baby sister of Hazel (3). She was born prematurely at 28 weeks and spent the first 80 days of her precious life in the neonatal unit. Despite her ongoing health battles and time spent in hospital, Willow had a smile that lit up a room. She continued to fight so fiercely and bravely every single day alongside her parents who were strong advocates for their daughter and for the premmie community.
Sadly, on 28th April 2021, Willow couldn't fight anymore and we had to say goodbye. Our hearts are shattered. Emma, Dylan & Hazel, we are so sorry that your baby girl was taken too soon, it isn't fair. Willow's name, her story and her fighting spirit will forever be remembered and spoken about.
The funds raised here will support the Bone family as they navigate their grief and the world without their baby girl. Nothing we do or say will ease the heartache, but I'm hopeful this will ease some of the financial hardship at this time.
This GoFundMe has been organised by a fellow premmie & tubie friend, but funds raised will go directly to Emma & Dylan.
