It is with a heavy heart that I share the news that our colleague and friend, Walter, has passed away following a sudden medical condition. Our deepest condolences go out to his family during this devastating time.
Who is Walter?
For the past ten years, Walter has been the heart of our kitchen, a true source of warmth and compassion. At 73, his dedication shines through in everything he does. Each day, Walter comes to work ready to lend a helping hand and offers kind words that brighten the lives of both residents and staff. His unwavering commitment and positive spirit inspire us all to embrace our core values.
Walter's generosity extends far beyond the kitchen. Last holiday season, he took on the joyful role of Santa Claus, bringing magic and cheer to the children and residents, showcasing the happiness he spreads every day. His kindness and warmth have created a lasting impact on our community, reminding us of the importance of cherishing moments of joy and connection. We are truly grateful for the love and light he brings into our lives.
What happened?
We are heartbroken to share that Walter experienced a medical emergency while dedicatedly performing his job. He sadly passed away later that day. Our thoughts are with his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
Why We’re Raising Funds
As a small facility, we have watched Walter show up for us and our residents for a decade. Now, it’s our turn to show up for him. Every dollar raised will go directly to Walter to cover memorial services.
How You Can Help
Please consider donating to support Walter and his family. No amount is too small. Let’s surround Walter with the same kindness and support he has shown to so many.
On behalf of Walter, his family, and our entire facility family, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity, prayers, and good thoughts.
