Remembering Walt - Saratoga Meat & Fish

Walt passed away October 17th in a tragic car accident in Saratoga. Walt was so special and unique, everyday he went above and beyond, he did the job of 4 people and was worth his weight in gold.

Walt was always kind, positive, optimistic, loyal, an amazing friend and employee. We feel honored to have known him, worked with him, and have many fond memories of traveling and socializing with him. He left us too early at 39 years old. Walt had so many ideas for the shop and was continually making new things, bringing in new products and constantly promoting being bigger and better. We want to honor him by fulfilling the dreams he shared with us and keep his spirit here everyday. It fills us with hope, and makes us smile to start planning Walt’s ideas!

Many customers are aware of Walt’s wish to one day have a pizza oven at the shop, he would most definitely work his magic and create delicious pizzas. Our idea is to make his wish come true…..”Walt’s Pizzas” would be an amazing addition to our shop, as well as being able to remember and honor our dear friend and employee.

All donations will go towards a wood fired pizza oven Walt had researched and selected and shared with us.
