Virginia Dail Gragg was born in raised in Swannanoa, NC. My great grandmother Pearl Gragg raised her in Beacon Village where most of our whole family was born and raised. She had two daughters who are me and my sister and between us 4 grandchildren who love her so very much. My mom was one of the most beautiful,kind,sweet,honest, caring, loving, and unjudgemental woman/friend/person you could ever know. She had the most beautiful heart and anyone who ever was lucky enough to meet her knew that. She was the mom you wish and hope for. I will never be able to explain how lucky I was for this woman to be my mother. She gave unconditional love and thats something that doesnt come often in this world. About 4 years ago she was diagnosed with Myleoma Cancer(which is a blood cancer that is incurable but livable for a little time). The doctors were making alot of progress with her treatments until this past year. About a month and a half ago they told us she was out of options and wouldnt have long. She was going to still try so she could be here for us but I told her I didnt want her to go through that again and the doctor told us without her being healthy with a better white blood cell count it could be fatal to try another round of chemo. We decided she should go home and spend the rest of the time with us while she could. It came very fast and she passed this morning. Even in her final days she was thinking of her family and not herself. I have never done this go fund me before but I dont know what else to do and she deserves to be remembered in a beautiful service that me and my family desperatley want to give her. I know its near the holidays and hard for all of us in the world. I just want her to have a service/celebration of her life that people can come and show their respects to her because she was such a beautiful soul. I also know she touched so many people's lives and she deserves so very much. Me and my family are also scraping together what we can. I also forgot to mention she had life insurance but her husband is not willing to pay for the service for her. He already took her money out of her account before she passed and none of us were aware until she woke up and asked us to look at her account because she was worried he had already taken it. Its really true that you find out how people truly are when someone passes. I just wanted her to be remembered and have a celebration of life because she was a truly genuine amazing soul who I will miss everyday of my life.....
