Remembering Vincent Huang

Donation protected

It's with a heavy heart that I am organizing this fundraiser for Vincent (Jian) Huang on behalf of his wife, Michal (Maiko) Huang, and his family. Vincent passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023, at his home in San Jose, CA. The exact cause of his passing is not yet known but appears to have been peaceful and without pain.

The memorial funds generated by this GoFundMe will be used to help with the upcoming expenses and largely to help his daughter, Kiara, finish her education and his son, Kylan, will start college the year after next. Any contributions made will go towards stabilizing their family in this unexpected loss.

Those who knew Vincent knew he was many things to many different people. First and foremost he was a loving husband to his wife, Michal, and a loving father to his two children. Anyone who knew Vincent knew that his family was first and foremost in his mind at all times. Needless to say, the family's sense of loss is tremendous and picking up the pieces after losing such a foundation as Vincent is difficult to even start.

Many people will know Vincent as a jack of all trades. Those that knew him knew he was the person you always wanted to talk to before travel, a home project, or even a major purchase. He was a star-gazer, a mechanic and car enthusiast, a biker, a foodie, a photo and video taker, and an aquarist to name just a few. He was a fount of knowledge in so many things, but it was his love of aquariums that drew him to begin working for Neptune Systems in 2017.

In speaking with Vincent's wife over the last few days, one of the things she wants his co-workers, colleagues, and customers to know is that he loved and was proud to work with Neptune Systems products and customers. Vincent was a source of technical information and knew exactly the equipment needed to achieve a desired goal. During his time as either a Technical Support Representative or Sales Manager, he was always available to our customers. Whether that be by email, phone, Facebook, forum, or even in person. One of the last things Vincent did before passing was helping the folks at the Waikiki Aquarium, while on his vacation, to get the most out of their Neptune Systems Apex.

Vincent was at his core a helper and his satisfaction in a job well done was measured by the success of his family, friends, and customers that he helped every day. If you needed him, he was there. He was a rock to his family, the extra push that helped us all get to the finish line. He will be deeply missed.

I encourage you to share memories you have of Vincent for the family to be comforted by in the comments.

We will post more information as it becomes available such as details of his memorial services.
