Remembering Victor: Fund His Final Farewell

Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that we find out the sad news about Victor Herrera, aka YGEE/Jay. The unexpected news has hit our family, friends, and softball community very hard. Everyone that knew Victor knew he was a one-of-a-kind person. Every room he would come into, he would make his presence felt with some type of joke or some way to lighten up the mood.

On the softball field, he would always take the time to talk to everyone and be himself. He used his trash talking that he learned on the basketball court to pump himself and others up. He was very competitive and always wanting to win. He was looking forward to taking the softball field with his son Rico. God granted him that wish as he played Sunday modified right before his passing and left his last official game as a winner, where he pitched an amazing game. The next couple of days, that is all he talked about. He was also very grateful for the support of his sponsor Elite/Onyx. Victor always talked about how softball saved his life from the streets and helped him do something positive in this world.

Family and friends, we are creating this GoFundMe to give Victor the proper burial he deserves for all his family and friends to come together one last time for him. We also send our condolences to Ramon, Chris, and the other female who also sadly lost their life and hope everyone shows them support also.
