Remembering Uncle Del, Our Community Barber

Donation protected
With great sadness my Uncle Del passed away May 16, 2025. He had been in Riverside hospital for a few weeks. Due to a procedure on his legs that didn’t end well, he was told that he would need to have both legs amputated if they would ever work right again. He didn’t accept that. He then was told his kidneys were also failing and needed to be put on dialysis, he didn’t accept that either. He ended up having fluid around his heart and lungs as well. From there it was just downhill. He told us that he was ready to be with the Lord. He wanted to take his legs and everything else to Heaven with him. Everything then on happened so fast. He then agreed to be put on hospice care and the day he passed was the day he had gotten transferred to the House of Hospice in Williamsburg, Va. Once he got there, he passed away.

My Uncle lived such a beautiful life. He was so loved and known as the best Barber around. I never realized how many friends, clients and loved ones he actually had until now. My family appreciates each and everyone of you for reaching out and being there for my Uncle and us as well. We appreciate the love and prayers from all of you.

As this is a very hard time and has happened so fast, we would just like to ask for a little bit of help with funds towards his funeral, medical bills and other expenses as well as everything else we need to do for him.

Anything helps.
I will be holding a service for him as soon as I have everything figured out and will contact everybody with information.

I have added a date because I had to but that might not be the exact date. I will update it once I know for sure.
