Remembering Tyson Vance Dedman

It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of the unexpected passing of Tyson Vance Dedman, beloved husband of our dear friend Heather (Torres) Dedman. This sudden loss has left Heather, her 8-year-old son James, and their entire family in a state of shock and deep sorrow.

Tyson was more than a husband; he was a devoted stepfather to James, embracing him with love and care as he stepped up as a second father figure to him. He always talked about wanting to be a father, and he found that joy and fulfillment in his relationship with James. Watching as his eyes lit up with pride and joy, James became a topic of discussion in every conversation he had with others. Tyson was also a dedicated 5th-grade teacher for the past nine years. He inspired and educated countless children, leaving a lasting impact on his students and the community. His unique blend of humor, kindness, and dedication made him a cherished educator and friend to many.

As you all may know, Heather and Tyson had just embarked on their journey together as husband and wife, having been married only six months ago, but what felt like a short-lived lifetime for the two. They were eagerly planning to celebrate their reception soon, a moment they had been looking forward to with joy and excitement. Now, instead of celebrating their love, Heather is faced with the unimaginable task of mourning her beloved husband.

In the wake of this tragedy, Heather is faced with emotional and financial challenges that she never anticipated. As she navigates through this difficult time, we want to come together to provide her with the support she needs.
