Tony Yerry was a well-loved son, brother, boyfriend and friend. He was a successful lawyer, a great mentor and a respected member of our community. He was someone that people relied on to get through life’s challenges. He always believed in supporting others to be the best version of themselves.
A big part of Tony's success came from his lifelong commitment to growth and passion for learning. A proud University of Washington Husky alumnus and a dedicated student at Seattle University School of Law, Tony set an example of hard work and excellence for others to follow for years to come.
On July 1st, 2017, Tony passed away as the result of a sudden heart attack while hiking in the great outdoors that he loved so much. There are no words to begin to understand why Tony was taken from us so soon. Together we will continue to celebrate his life and honor his memory.
On behalf of Tony and his family and friends we are creating a scholarship fund in Tony's name. The scholarship will be used to help students and aspiring lawyers in the pursuit of higher education.

*Ana Reyes, Tony's Girlfriend along with Tony's family will be setting up a non-profit Scholarship in Tony's Honor in Seattle, Wa to support students and aspiring lawyers at Seattle University and the University of Washington. Once set up, there will still be an opportunity to donate directly to the scholarship fund.
