Remembering Tony-Please help the Chelemedos family

It is with tremendous sorrow that we share the news that on Saturday, September 2nd, Tony Chelemedos lost his life in a tragic accident. Tony leaves behind his beautiful wife Rocio, and his two precious young children Elaine (5) and Nico (3). Tony was a loving husband and an incredible father. His world revolved around his family and there was nothing he was more proud of than being a husband and a dad. He was involved in every aspect of his kid’s lives and was always trying to find new ways to make their world a brighter place. From building the ultimate treehouse in their backyard, to having outdoor movie nights, to building his daughter Elaine a mobile lemonade stand so he could take her to the busiest locations—Tony was always working to ensure his family was well taken care of. Tony had so many plans that he will never get to carry out and so many future memories to make with his loved ones that he will miss out on. As some of Tony’s close friends, we want to make sure that his family has the support that they need during this difficult time.

Tony was the main provider in the household and has now left behind the family that he worked so hard to support. With such an unexpected death, the family is left to figure out funeral arrangements, medical bills, mortgage payments, etc. As things start to pile up and with Rocio’s family all residing in Spain, tackling all of this seems unimaginable. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards covering these major expenses.

Tony will always be remembered for his charisma and wit, his tenacious perseverance, his humble willingness to support his family and friends, and his infectious positivity that would always uplift those around him. He touched so many lives as a dedicated husband, father, son, family member, and friend. He will be so deeply missed by every single person who knew him and we hope that the memory of his fun loving soul will live on forever in the hearts of all who were lucky to know him. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers during this devastating time. The family is so grateful for any donations made and any prayers uplifted.

Tony’s memorial service will be held at Marine View Presbyterian Church on Saturday September 30th at 1pm.
