If you know Tom, YOU know Tom!!
My dear beloved friends, friends of Tom, friends of Tom's family, it is regrettable and so very unfortunate that you receive this message today. As you may already be aware, Tom was called home to be with the angels on Sunday the evening of February 14th., after his struggle with the COVID-19 virus. Tom is a fighter and almost had the virus kicked as we were told, but God has taken him as a part of his much greater and grander plan.
Most of us grew up with Tom and others knew him more so as an adult. A lot of us have spent a lot of time with Tom, and have been apart of enjoying some of Tom's favorite past times. From concerts to camping, road-tripping to parties, to tearing a truck or motorcycle down to catching the open road on the motorcycle or snowmobile trail, from the days on the farm to the evenings' Tom spent with his Dad in the garage, from long conversations and living life with his big brother Ryan (cousin) to becoming a man, finding love and raising a beautiful family in Henderson, Texas with his wife Shay. Tom adored all of his friends and family, especially his two little boys.
Tom was a man of honor, great courage, and humility...And so much more! It's hard to write what one human has meant to you over a lifetime of friendship and brotherhood after they are gone but I choose to never let the memory of Tom fade. Tom is larger than life and his memories will always be with us.
So if you feel so inclined, please donate to the memorial fund in Tom's name. Our intent is to purchase a memorial and plaque and place it in Lake Forrest Park in Henderson, Texas where Tom's wife and kids currently reside, nearby, as a reminder that Tom is always with us when you take a walkout in nature. If we are able to raise a considerable amount of funds we will set up a fund for his two little boys as well.
Please give as much as you like. This is an act of love for our dear friend.
