I am raising funds in honor of my son, Timothy James Lawrence Nelson, to help with his services and memorial. Timothy passed away on August 15, due to complications with his type I diabetes.

Music was Tim's first love, with singing and beatboxing being his go-to acts. When he was a teenager he could often be found performing for friends and family. There are many videos of him doing just that!

Describing Tim as funny, friendly, and spirited is an understatement. He was the guy who could light up a room just by walking into it, the one whose humor was as infectious as his enthusiasm for life. In the words of the great Robin Williams, "You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it." Tim not only kept his spark but turned it into a bonfire that warmed the hearts of all who knew him.

As we bid farewell to Timothy James Lawrence Nelson, let's remember him not with tears but with laughter, for that is how he would have wanted it. May his jokes, songs, and laughter continue to echo in our memories, and may his spirit forever remind us to live life to the fullest.

A memorial will be held on September 13, from 2pm until 4pm, at W.C. Brady's Sons Funeral Home, 97 Mansion Street, Coxsackie, NY 12051.
