Remembering Thomas Mayfield: Your Support Needed

Thomas “DJ Gargamel” Mayfield, beloved Los Angeles-based DJ in the House, Hip Hop and Turntablist scene, has left us far too soon. He was battling a life-long medical condition that, unfortunately, caused him to leave this earth on April 13, 2025.       

 

He was truly an influential force and was responsible for bringing people together from all walks of life. Not only was he a staple in the Los Angeles DJ Community, he also used his talents to mentor the youth is his area, offering DJ lessons and graphic design classes at his OverGold Studios in Uptown Whittier. He was extremely proud to always offer a helping hand and a creative eye to numerous students in developing their High School Senior Projects.
