Remembering the Tinman

Gone too soon, a man with a heart of pure gold. Phil was a truly amazing human. He touched the hearts of whoever got to know him.  A true light in this world Phil would give you the shoes off his feet and the shirt off his back just to make sure you were taken care of. On 06/06/2021 Phil was taken from this world and brought back to heaven. He suddenly passed, but he was on his way to make more memories with one of his Marine brothers. There is a saying from Victor Hugo, " It is nothing to die; it is dreadful not to live," and let me tell you Phil lived! He was a Marine who served 2 tours in Iraq and built a family of Marine brothers. He helped take care of his mother, father, and siblings. He made sure to check on everyone he loved and bring joy to their lives. He was truly a genuine, sincere, loving, kind, and just all-around brilliant human being. Those words are not enough.

We are raising money to help his mother and siblings with any expense Phil may have left behind, as well as help with any of the memorial expenses.

Carl Jung, "The word happiness would lose its meaning if it were not balanced with a little bit of sadness!"

We will all be sad by the loss of Phil, but we can also laugh and smile at the memories and joy Phil brought us!
