It is with deep sorrow that I announce the passing of my sister-in-law, Stephanie Campfield. Our family is heartbroken by the devastating, unexpected loss of Stephane’s life on September 16th, 2021. For those who came in contact with Stephanie, she will be remembered for her ability to light up a room with her beautiful smile and laugh. Her three daughters—Briana (age 19), Kamra (age 4) and Karis (age 3)—have memories of a mom who enjoyed baking together, painting and coloring, and building sandcastles on the beach. She was loved by her community in Trenton, NJ, where she played an active role with her husband—Ashshakir Corey Campfield—in organizing musical events that featured talented artists throughout the Tri-State area, participating in park clean-ups and coordinating toy drives.

 

Our family is tremendously grateful for all the thoughts, prayers and kind words as we mourn Stephanie’s death at the young age of 34 (three days before her birthday on September 19th). In addition to the emotional pain that is deeply felt, we are all aware of the unforeseen financial burden death brings. During these difficult and sad times, our family graciously requests loved ones, friends, and well wishers to please help us raise funds for Stephanie’s services and life expenses of her daughters. Any donation possible will be appreciated as we grieve the loss of our beloved one, and we hope you will share this post with others whose lives were touched by Stephanie.
