Remembering the life of our sweet Jemma

Hey I’m Jemmas twin sister.

Jem was in an accident on the night of March 6th, 2022. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance with severe head trauma. Soon she was put in a medically induced coma and was chemically paralyzed. Despite the efforts of the hospital her brain swelled to the point of no return and herniated, ultimately causing brain death.

We lost Jemma on the day I’m making this gofundme.

She passed on at 6:37pm March 10, 2022 and we are just absolutely devastated. Her body is being kept at the hospital as we await for a organ donation team to come and retrieve her organs. Our sweet Jemma gets to have the Honor Walk, hospital staff and nurses will line the walls where we will walk behind her as they take her to the surgery room for the retrieval.

We lost such a beautiful life, she was an amazing person and for those who don’t know her just know that she was beautiful in so many ways, that she lived fearlessly, she loved endlessly, and she cared about everyone near and far. She was the ultimate prankster, she could make anyone laugh and anyone that met her just loved her immediately. Her smile lit up a room, and she was such a joy to our family. Her laugh echoed into our hearts, and she lived with pride. The light that she was is still here, and we carry that light now.
