Mari, as her family called her, lived her life for her children. Their world was her world. Everything she did or worked for was not for her wants but for their needs.

Supported her sons through thick and thin, the good and the bad.

Gentle, sweet and caring. Never asked for anything. Enjoyed a simple life, really. Only yearning happiness and peace amongst her family.

Near the sound of the ocean you will find her. “The beach relaxes me, papi,” she would remind her son. That’s where her heart felt peace.

Maribel is survived by her husband, Darvin, and her two sons, Jeffrey and Anthony. Whom all loved her in their own special way. She was a wonderful mother who raised two loving boys and did everything possible for them. She had a giant heart and gave everyone unconditional love. Her battle with cancer was hard but she was hopeful.

Unfortunately, her battle with cancer ended on August 17th, 2021. For those of you that know her son Jeffrey then you already know that he has dedicated his life to caring for his mother in all aspects since her diagnosis … he re-arranged his whole life schedule to bring mommy down from Kansas and help her fight her battle with cancer … ongoing appointments , experimental treatments , and a fight that was battled daily until the very end.

Although cancer can destroy dreams and hopes jeffrey always did everything to try and bring a smile to his mommy’s face even on the darkest of days.
